Since it’s inception in 2002, our client has established itself as a leader in creating and managing successful European real estate funds. His proven skill and leadership in the European institutional real estate investment market has attracted an impressive list of institutional clients, from the US, Europe and the Middle East.
He acquires single- and multi-tenant facilities (with a typical value between €20m and €500m) in continental Europe and leases these properties to blue-chip corporate tenants with stable investment grade credit, often under triple net leases lasting from 6 to 20 years. There are currently 11 funds with in excess of 650 properties across Europe and Turkey. These closed-end funds have a combined value of assets under management of €8bn.
Due to significant growth, our client is seeking to strengthen its Asset Management team through the appointment of a Senior Asset Manager/Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of its German property portfolio.

Luxemburg – Attractive salary package

You will be responsible for a portfolio composed of office and retail/shopping centers assets across Germany worth over 1 billion EUR and will master all aspects of assigned assets
You will manage the business plan for all assets
You will liaise with local property managers
You will manage an internal financial analyst team and oversee external consultants in their evaluation of the local markets
You will assist in refinancing, property lettings, re-lettings, dispositions, expansions, and assets repositioning
You will also participate in the review of new real estate investments opportunities
Ideally, you possess a master’s degree from a leading university or business school and you have extensive experience (minimum 5 years) with managing German assets in a similar position in an international environment
You are fluent in German and English. The strong knowledge of another language is an asset
You have general knowledge of finance, including valuation models, net present values, internal rates of return and investment yields is a must
You are expected to operate both autonomously and in a team environment, you are an independent thinker, with good judgment and a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
Due to some future buildings you should have as well some experience in development projects.
